Are you a highly organised problem-solver who can turn complex workflows into streamlined delivery? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where multiple stakeholders rely on you to keep projects moving forward?

As a Content Project Manager, you will oversee the operational delivery of digital content initiatives across a portfolio of brands. While a significant portion of the work supports SEO-driven content strategies, the role also supports other content initiatives across the business, including paid media, marketing campaigns and emerging content formats such as GEO-focused initiatives.

Working closely with the SEO team, Account Management team, the Marketing team and other internal stakeholders, you will coordinate incoming content requests and ensure the content production pipeline runs smoothly across multiple concurrent projects.

As part of the Delivery Team, you will play a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency, content quality and predictable delivery for content initiatives across the organisation.

Responsibilities includes:

  • Reporting and working closely with the Delivery Project Manager [direct manager] and the Head of Delivery to support the operational delivery of SEO-driven content strategies developed by the SEO team.
  • Managing incoming requests and identifying the project scope, clarifying deliverables, anticipating needs, understanding timelines, managing sprint planning, and overseeing resourcing and deadlines by allocating work across writers and editors based on priority, capacity, and delivery timelines.
  • Creating and implementing a robust prioritisation framework across content creation to ensure that the team is focused on the highest impact projects while accommodating urgent delivery requirements and shifting project priorities.
  • Overseeing the operational workflows of the content production cycle, including maintaining project trackers, managing work-in-progress documentation, coordinating cycle planning, and ensuring all content deliverables are properly documented and uploaded.
  • Maintaining and updating internal reporting systems, including weekly reports, KPI trackers, forecasting documents, and month-on-month performance or costing reports to support visibility across the delivery team.
  • Negotiating deadlines and ensuring the team spends their time effectively by providing clarity on content orders, coordinating task allocation, monitoring content cycle progress, and resolving blockers that may impact delivery timeliness.
  • Identifying delivery risks early (capacity, timeline conflicts, incomplete briefs) and working with stakeholders to resolve blockers.
  • Liaising with various stakeholders across the organisation to clarify briefs, align expectations, manage deliverables and timelines, as well as identify future opportunities for collaboration.
  • Analysing task and delivery performance, maintaining operational reporting dashboards, and providing recommendations for optimisation and improved delivery efficiency.
  • Managing and developing collaborative relationships with members of the Delivery Team, Consultants and Account Managers to support effective project execution and communication.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A degree in digital marketing, management, project management or other relevant courses
