The Collections Specialist is responsible for managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. This role plays a key part in supporting the agency’s cash flow while upholding professional and effective communication with clients.
Responsibilities includes:
Contacting overdue account holders.
Negotiating payment plans and settlements.
Documenting interactions and agreements.
Monitoring and updating account statuses.
Maintaining accurate records.
Preparing and submitting collection activity reports.
Analyzing data to identify trends.
Ensuring activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Staying updated on legal changes.
Coordinating with internal departments and external agencies.
Candidates must have:
2+ years experience in debt collection
Experience working with Xero (desirable)
Excellent communication skills
Great attention to detail
Experience in the digital marketing industry (desirable)
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
