The Opportunity
We’re seeking a seasoned Regulatory Manager to lead our compliance efforts across infant formula, medical food, adult nutrition, and dietary supplement markets. In this pivotal senior role, you’ll shape regulatory strategy, support global market access, and drive new product development in tightly regulated food categories. Your expertise will ensure our products meet all regulatory, compositional, labelling, and entry requirements for Australia/NZ and key international markets. You’ll be a trusted advisor to internal teams, customers, distributors, and regulatory authorities. This role can be based either in Brisbane or Melbourne with hybrid working available.
Lead Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure regulatory compliance across infant, medical, adult, supplement markets
- Interpret FSANZ, Codex, EU, FDA, China GB, global standards
- Approve formulations, specs, labels, claims for regulatory accuracy
- Maintain dossiers: ingredient approvals, GRAS, novel food
- Advise on regulatory pathways, classifications, risks for new products
- Primary regulatory contact for customers, distributors, authorities, manufacturers
- Monitor and share regulatory changes impacting nutrition ingredient use
To succeed:
You’re a skilled regulatory expert with strong technical know-how and sound commercial sense, confident navigating global standards and collaborating with diverse teams. You’ll bring:
- Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs or similar field
- Extensive regulatory affairs experience in infant formula, dairy, supplements or high‑risk foods
- In-depth knowledge of Omega-3 DHA ingredients and their use
- Proven track record preparing and managing regulatory submissions and dossiers
- Comprehensive understanding of FSANZ and international food regulations
- Exceptional written skills for translating complex regulations into clear business advice
