The Opportunity

We are looking for an Accountant who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will be responsible for reviewing and analysing financial data and supporting the Management Accountant and Chief Financial Officer with the oversight of accounting processes and assisting in organisational decision-making regarding financial matters. Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• General Ledger and Sub Ledger reconciliations
• Month-end accounting
• Process payments (including foreign currency) in accordance with the trading terms and cash flow forecast
• Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts
• Assist with P&L analysis, month-end close, budgeting, and year-end audit processes
• Preparation of management reports
• Support accounts payable including supplier payments, overseas transfers, and creditor management
• Maintain inventory items, standard costs, BOMs and routes in QAD

To Succeed

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Accountant role, ideally in a global business
• Proven ERP/Accounting systems experience (preferably QAD)
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage key stakeholders
• Strong experience in preparing management reports
• Knowledge of Taxation legislation applicable to companies, primarily Income Tax and GST
