Summary:

As Accounts Payable Manager, you will take full ownership of the AP function across multiple entities, clinics, and cost centres. You will lead and develop the AP team, implement strong controls, improve processes, and ensure accurate, timely supplier payments across the group.

You will work closely with the Financial Controller and broader finance leadership to ensure the AP function supports scale, cash-flow visibility, and audit-ready reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounts payable team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
  • Oversee the processing of invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Develop and implement accounts payable procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts payable transactions, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Prepare and present reports on accounts payable metrics to senior management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and resolve any issues.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, addressing inquiries and disputes promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
