Production Hand/ Forklift Operators

A recent merger & exciting growth has opened ongoing roles for keen, reliable workers to join our production team at Edinburgh & warehouse crew at Ottoway.

These roles are ongoing casual with an opportunity for permanent positions for the right people

Production Hand, Stores/Forklift operator

Location: Edinburgh

Hours Mon – Fri 6.15am start (Avg 35-37.5 hrs per week)

Responsibilities include:

• Operate an electric forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack product
• Load and unload trucks and containers
• Safely operate meat mixer
• Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring proper labeling, counting, and recording of product
• Inspect and maintain the forklift to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Previous warehouse, receive & dispatch experience, record using computer systems
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain cleanliness of site
• Perform other associated duties as assigned

Forklift operator

Location: Ottoway

• Perform other associated duties as assigned

Successful candidates will have

• Full Australian working rights
• Valid Fork lift license
• Full drivers license with reliable vehicle
• Current or willing to obtain Police Clearance

• Willingness to learn & commit to longer term position
• Valid forklift operator certification with safe practical experience
• Previous warehouse, receive & dispatch experience, record using computer systems
• Prior food production experience advantageous
• Ability to write, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work well in team & autonomously
• Physically fit; able to safely lift, stand
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to undertake, medical assessment, drug test
