North Projects is a specialist advisor and consultancy to property, construction, and development projects nationally. Our clients include State governments, company boards, financiers, developers, builders, governments, PPP Sponsors and tertiary education providers.
The opportunity
We are looking for a diligent, highly efficient and detailed bid coordinator to join our team in our Brisbane office. We produce bid and proposal documents for our clients in the infrastructure industry and will require end-to-end management, including writing the non-technical responses whilst liaising with the technical team.
This role will ensure our bids, tenders and submissions are submitted on time and to the highest quality. Reporting to the Bid Manager, you will work closely with them to ensure that we are working towards our approved business plan to ensure we are tendering and bidding on the suitable projects.
This standalone role will connect with the bid team across the business but will be working autonomously.
You will:
- Coordinate the end-to-end process of bids, tenders and submissions from concept
- Liaise with technical leads and ensure their submission is proofed, edited and grammatically correct prior to submission.
- Coordinate and set priorities on multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
- Responsible for the documentation to be thoroughly prepared with a high attention to detail.
- Lead and develop best practice submission guidelines in conjunction with the bids team nationally.
- Contribute to bid strategy and key messaging in submissions.
About you:
- Advanced MS Word skills and proficient in MS Office
- Intermediate skills in Adobe InDesign.
- Minimum 2 years in a bid or submissions role.
- Excellent written skills and ability to produce a high standard of publications.
- Ideally have worked on Infrastructure, construction or engineering bid and tenders previously
