Early Childhood Educator – Room Leader

North Belconnen Community Association is seeking an experienced and motivated Early Childhood Educator (Room Leader) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement educational programs in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Lead and manage a room, ensuring high-quality care and supervision of children
• Support and guide other educators within the room
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
• Monitor and document children’s development and progress
• Communicate effectively with families and staff
• Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards (NQS) and relevant regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care   
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Current Working with Children Check and National Police Certificate

Salary: AUD $76,515 – $85,000 plus superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience
