About This Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of our finance function and play a key role in shaping the financial direction of the business.
This is a broad, high-impact role responsible for managing the end-to-end finance function while partnering closely with leadership to support business performance, decision-making, and sustainable growth. You will lead and support the existing finance team, strengthen financial operations, and drive improvements across systems, processes, and reporting.
This role provides a high degree of autonomy and is primarily home-based/remote, with travel required to the Sunshine Coast practices. Preference will be given to candidates located
on the Sunshine Coast.
The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Own and manage the end-to-end finance function, including systems, processes, controls, and outputs
- Lead, mentor, and support the finance team across multiple sites
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and performance tracking
- Manage day-to-day financial operations (AP/AR, payroll, tax compliance)
- Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain strong internal controls
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and insights for stakeholders
- Act as a trusted finance partner to senior leaders and operational managers
- Provide financial modelling and analysis to support investment and business decisions
- Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and performance improvement initiatives
- Monitor cash flow, optimise working capital, and manage banking relationships
- Drive efficiencies and continuous improvement across finance systems and workflows
- Ensure finance processes are scalable to support business growth
About You
- CA/CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience in financial management and/or business partnering roles
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with non-finance stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to provide strategic insights
- Experience leading or mentoring finance teams
- Solid understanding of financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in Xero and advanced Excel skills
- High attention to detail with strong analytical capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in healthcare or medical imaging (desirable, not essential)
- Strong commercial acumen
