Fulltime Medical Receptionist – assist with weekend and after hours rotation

Description

Townsville GP Superclinic is seeking a Full Time Medical Receptionist for our busy General Practice on Charters Towers Road, Hyde Park. Previous Healthcare industry experience preferable, however hospitality Reception/Administration or Customer Service skills suit also. Roster full time – shifts during clinic opening hours (38 hrs p/wk) Flexibility is required with shifts (that range between 6 and 8 hours) rostered mornings, afternoons, some evenings and rotational weekends, to cover Practice hours. Practice hours are between 7.30am and 10pm.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • · Answering incoming calls, busy switchboard and professional emails
  • · Booking appointments on health-based software, assisting patients with enquiries and kiosk check in
  • · Meeting and greeting clientele in a friendly manner
  • · General cleaning and upkeep of practice areas, following strict infection control requirements, stock take and restocking of supplies
  • · Screening of presenting patient, in compliance with current COVID 19 protocols
  • · Liaising with Allied Health and other service providers (specialists, aged care to assist with patient care management)
  • · Willingness to learn, be directed and follow procedures
  • · Dealing with patient enquiries, delays and rescheduling, over the phone and in person, including challenging situations
  • · Filing, scanning, copying

  • · Current driver licence for errands (automatic work car)
  • · Australian citizenship or permanent residency essential
