A bit about the Trade Sales role:
The Trade Sales role is the face of the NHS business when customers enter the premises (NHS refer to this role internally as a Counter Sales role). The role is responsible for ensuring informed and quality product advice is given and that our customers experience industry leading customer service, while maximising sales opportunities for the business that meets NHS customer needs. Some specific duties also include:
- Providing customers with informed and quality product advice
- Ensuring transactions are efficient and accurate at Point-of-Sale (POS)
- Assisting customers in loading their products
- Creating and coordinating customer Special Orders
- Assisting with re-stocking
- Merchandising
- Participating in cycle counts and stocktakes
- Participate in regular product training

What qualities, skills and experiences are essential to be considered:
You must be a person that:
- Is proven to be punctual and reliable when attending work
- Is willing to learn
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and non-verbal communication
- Has the ability to competently use computer software programs
- Is physically fit (as frequent and repetitive lifting is required as part of this position)
- Holds a current drivers licence holder (provisional and above)
- Can work on a permanent full time basis and available for work in NHS trading hours
