NHN Group is seeking highly motivated Maritime & Critical Infrastructure Security Guards to deliver high-standard access control, patrol, and monitoring services. Role Overview:
- Monitor and control access at the gatehouse, ensuring only authorised personnel and vehicles enter secure zones.
- Verify compliance and conduct ID and credential checks in line with site protocols.
- Provide professional, consistent coverage at the gatehouse and support shift transitions.
- Record gatehouse activities and interactions accurately using logbooks or electronic systems.
- Respond to incidents or access breaches occurring near the gatehouse and follow emergency protocols.
- Report any operational concerns or suspicious behaviour to the Site Supervisor.
- Represent the security team with professionalism and courtesy when interacting with users.
- Conduct scheduled vehicle patrols of the port precinct, including perimeter fencing, berths, storage areas, and infrastructure zones.
- Respond rapidly to alarms, breaches, or suspicious behaviour during patrols and secure incident scenes as needed.
- Perform roving access checks to confirm all personnel and vehicles in secure areas are compliant.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patrol and incident reports in line with SOPs.
- Carry out regular welfare checks on static security officers stationed at gatehouses.
- Identify and report trends, hazards, or improvement areas to enhance the security program.
- Act as a mobile deterrent to unauthorised access and provide a visible security presence across the site.

About You:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A current NSW Security Licence.
- A valid Provide First Aid Certificate.
- A current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
- Strong communication and situational awareness skills
Highly Regarded:
- Experience in maritime or critical infrastructure security
- Experience in mobile patrol
