About The Role

This is a critical leadership role responsible for the end-to-end execution of warehouse operations across multiple locations. You’ll ensure field teams consistently receive the right materials, at the right time, in the right condition—supporting service delivery across the business.

Reporting into the Chief Financial Officer, you’ll lead national warehouse operations, driving performance, consistency, and efficiency while operating within a structured governance framework. You’ll play a key role in standardising processes, improving productivity, allocating resources effectively, and creating a high-performing, safety-focused warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own national warehouse operations and service delivery to field teams, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to meet operational demands.
  • Lead and develop warehouse supervisors and operational teams across multiple sites, fostering a customer-first and safety-focused culture.
  • Ensure accurate and timely picking, packing, dispatch, and receipting to meet service delivery targets.
  • Drive standardisation of warehouse processes and implement SOPs nationally.
  • Manage operational KPIs including order accuracy, fulfilment, productivity, and inventory handling discipline.
  • Promote continuous improvement in warehouse layout, workflows, efficiency, and operational practices.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring full compliance with HSEQ standards.
  • Act as the key operational interface between field teams and inventory governance.
  • Proactively identify and escalate supply, service, or safety risks.
  • Provide performance insights and operational reporting to senior leadership to support decision-making.
  • Ensure assets (tooling) are properly stored and returned by field staff
  • Ensure safe and timely processing of scrap metals at select warehouse locations

About You

You are an experienced warehouse leader who combines strong operational discipline with a continuous improvement mindset. You thrive in fast-paced, multi-site environments, balancing hands-on operational leadership with strategic initiatives. You understand how to lead teams, drive performance, and implement structure—without losing sight of customer service and safety.

You will bring:

  • A customer-first mindset with a strong focus on service delivery.
  • Proven experience leading warehouse operations across multiple locations.
  • Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to engage, coach, and develop teams.
  • A track record of delivering against service KPIs (accuracy, on-time dispatch, productivity).
  • Experience implementing and standardising SOPs across sites.
  • Solid understanding of inventory controls, stock accuracy, and warehouse processes.
  • Experience working with ERP/WMS systems and transactional discipline.
  • A strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, efficiency, and effective resource allocation.
  • A data-driven approach to performance management and operational decision-making.
