About The Role
The Warehouse Labourer is a key support role that underpins smooth and efficient warehouse operations. This position contributes to a safe, organised, and productive work environment, supporting logistics functions and fostering teamwork and reliability across the warehouse.
Key responsibilities include:
- Process scrap daily in an efficient and timely manner, following the scrap recycling procedures.
- Support the warehouse supervisor with general warehouse duties once scrap processing is complete.
- Ensure all warehouse operations comply with established processes and standards.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all warehouse activities.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised, and free of hazards.
- Assist with deliveries and collections as required.
- Provide support to the team for ad hoc tasks and special projects as needed.
- Perform minor computer or phone work as part of daily warehouse and logistics tasks.
About You

You will work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders & give a sh*t about the work that you do. Working within a busy team you will need to possess:
- Coordination skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
- A proactive approach to safety, with a commitment to maintaining HSEQ standards and safe work practices
- A collaborative team player who communicates clearly and supports others to achieve shared goals
- Adaptable and reliable, with the flexibility to respond to changing workloads and operational needs
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively & proactively look for solutions.
- Experience in performing manual tasks and repetitive work
- Experience in using hand and power tools
- Forklift license – mandatory
- Driver’s license – mandatory
