About The Role
This is a key leadership role within the finance function, responsible for owning and delivering high-quality financial planning, reporting, and analysis across the business.
As FP&A Manager, you will act as the custodian of financial integrity—ensuring all outputs are accurate, reconciled, auditable, and provide meaningful insight to support decision-making at an executive and Board level.
You will partner closely with senior stakeholders, including the CFO and Commercial Finance Manager, while leading a small team and driving continuous improvement across financial processes, systems, and reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the budgeting and forecasting process (in partnership with the Commercial Finance Manager), including consolidation of inputs across the business
- Developing and maintaining integrated three-way financial models (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Owning the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting with full balance sheet integrity
- Preparing executive and Board reporting packs, including clear and insightful variance analysis
- Managing statutory reporting requirements and coordinating the external audit process
- Driving BI analytics and dashboarding capability to enhance business insights
- Maintaining strong financial controls, accounting policies, and compliance frameworks
- Leading and developing a small finance team, fostering accountability and performance
- Partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders to support strategic decision-making

About You
You are a technically strong and commercially minded finance professional who takes ownership of outcomes and prides yourself on delivering accurate, high-quality financial information.
You’re comfortable operating at a senior level, influencing stakeholders, and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Ideal candidates will bring experience from a Big 4 or second-tier accounting firm, with strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and a proven ability to deliver insights that drive business performance.
To be considered for this role, you will bring:
- CA Qualified
- Experience as an FP&A Manager or Manager role in a chartered firm
- Experience leading statutory reporting and external audits
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Proven experience building and maintaining integrated financial models
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Query/Power Pivot highly regarded)
- Experience managing month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations in multi-entity environments
- Solid knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and statutory reporting requirements
- Experience preparing Board-level reports and presenting financial insights
- Exposure to AI/BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Databricks, Copilot) and a strong data-driven mindset
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to coach and develop team members
