Disability Support Workers – Sydney (Dementia Experience Preferred)

At New Growth Care Group, we do things a little differently. We’re human-centred, hands-on, and genuinely care about the people we support and the team around them.

We’re currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers in Sydney, with a strong preference for workers who have dementia experience and are confident supporting clients with complex emotional and personal care needs.

Some of our clients have expressed a preference for female support workers to support comfort, dignity, and continuity of care.

Our supports include community-based care and SIL, with shifts running 24/7, including active shifts and sleepovers.

💚 About the role

• You’ll be supporting participants with:
• Dementia care and daily routines
• Personal care and hygiene support
• Meal preparation and household tasks
• Community access and companionship
• Overnight support (sleepovers included)
• Every shift matters, and consistency is key.

🌟 What we’re looking for

• Experience supporting people living with dementia
• Disability support experience (community and/or SIL)
• Confidence with personal care and changing needs
• Reliable, calm, and emotionally attuned approach
• Availability for ongoing, consistent shifts

✅ What you’ll need

• Cert IV (or higher) in Disability, Aged Care, or similar
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• First Aid & CPR
• NDIS Worker Screening Check / WWCC
• Driver’s licence & reliable vehicle
• Full working rights in Australia
