Shift: Morning/day (AM)

About Network Steel

The Role

As a Fabricator at Network Steel, you’ll be an integral part of our production team, helping to bring our steel designs to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and work orders

• Cut and assemble steel components to specification

• Perform welds to meet the required specifications for each order

• Operate fabrication machinery (drills, grinders, etc.)

• Work collaboratively with workshop and drafting teams to maintain efficient production flow

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area

• Assist with other tasks as required

About You

• Experience in steel fabrication or metalwork (structural steel experience preferred)

• Confident in reading and interpreting drawings and fabrication details

• Competent in MIG (certifications or trade qualification highly regarded)

• Competent in MMA (Stick welding) (certifications advantageous)

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe work practices

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Forklift/Combilift experience (advantageous)
