You will facilitate and develop new partnerships and work collaboratively with endorsed Specialist Schools across the State to support the continued growth and development of the schools programs in Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Key on court coaching touchpoints to be delivered throughout the year
  • Work collaboratively with internal NWA Departments to effectively develop and promote NWA Specialist Schools
  • Work collaboratively with the participation team to organise and run the Specialist Schools Cup
  • Act as the NWA contact for issues pertaining to the stakeholder relations with NWA Specialist Schools, preparing timely and accurate responses as required
  • Identify, build and manage partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Provide information and reports for inclusion in relevant NWA communication channels and publications
  • Manage the administrative and governance requirements including, but not limited to, record keeping, data collection, report writing, and presentations as required
  • Contribute to the development of Community Netball’s operational plans, budgets and calendar of events to achieve key strategic outcomes

Essential Criteria

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with groups of children
  • Ability to use your initiative and adapt to specific situations
  • Excellent organisation, planning and time-management skills
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively
  • Initiative and flexibility to work outside standard business hours
  • A current WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
  • Commitment to child safety and safeguarding practices

Desirable

  • Experience in sport or the not-for-profit sector
  • Delivery of sporting programs (netball experience highly regarded)
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field

What We Offer

  • Flexible work practices to support work–life balance
  • Professional development and career growth opportunities
  • Free on-site parking at Gold Netball Centre
  • Mobile phone allowance
  • Employer-funded paid parental leave top-up
  • Tickets to home events and sporting brand discounts
  • Employee wellness and assistance programs
  • The opportunity to make a genuine impact on community sport in WA

Hours of Work

This is a max term contract (Feb-Oct) on a part-time basis working 15 hours per week. The sport industry operates outside of traditional business hours, including weekends. To succeed in this role, you must be willing and able to work when and where sport is happening. We have a flexible approach to ensuring our people can balance their family life and personal commitments alongside the demands of the industry.
