About the Role
Be part of the team delivering one of the world’s biggest sporting events as we bring the Netball World Cup Sydney 2027 (NWC2027) to life through bold, creative and high-impact design. Reporting into the Marketing & Communications team, you will lead end-to-end design delivery across digital, print and event environments. From campaigns and social content to signage and tournament collateral, you will help shape, protect and evolve the NWC2027 brand across every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver creative concepts and artwork across digital, print and environmental design
- Produce assets for social media, web, reports, presentations, signage and event collateral
- Support motion graphics, animation and short-form video content
- Ensure brand consistency and contribute to the evolution of brand guidelines
- Design and optimise graphics for web, mobile, and social media platforms
- Assist with website content updates (visual elements) and ensure digital assets are accessible and responsive.
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, events, sponsorship and
operations teams
- Manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality, production-ready
assets
What you’ll bring
- 5–8 years of experience in graphic design, working across both digital and print environments.
- Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; After Effects is a plus).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, design thinking, and technical capability.
- Advanced skills in graphic design, layout, and print production processes.
- Digital and social media design capability.
- Experience working with brand guidelines and maintaining visual consistency.
- Bonus: sport or event experience, motion graphics, video or UX/UI knowledge.

Additional Information
Reporting into the Digital Marketing Manager, this full-time role will be based at Sydney Olympic Park, on a fixed-term basis through to September 2027.
Given the unique nature of the sports industry, and the domestic & global
reach of our organisation, travelling and working outside of Netball HQ and
traditional office hours may be required from time to time. Our teams work
flexibly, and we encourage the successful applicant to discuss flexible working
options with their new Manager.
