We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a FullTime Residential Cleaner. The primary purpose of this role is to provide high-quality domestic cleaning services to DVA clients, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and comfortable home environment while supporting clients’ independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver domestic cleaning services in line with DVA care plans
- Perform general cleaning (vacuuming, mopping, dusting, kitchen and bathroom cleaning)
- Complete laundry tasks and change bed linens as required
- Maintain a safe, hygienic, and tidy home environment
- Use equipment and chemicals safely in accordance with WHS guidelines
- Respect clients’ privacy, dignity, and individual needs
- Communicate effectively and report any issues or hazards
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with NDIS guidelines.
- Provide regular updates and reports to participants, families, and relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, service providers and community resources to create a hollistic support network for participants.
Qualifications / Experience
- Previous experience in residential or domestic cleaning
- Ability to follow cleaning instructions and care plans
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and WHS requirements
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid Blue card and NDIS card
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Eligibility to work in Australia
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with elderly, veterans, or in community care settings
Understanding of DVA services and standards
First Aid and CPR certification
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Reliability, attention to detail, and time management skills
