Join our Medico-Legal Specialists team at Navigator Group – Contract role | Sydney CBD location.
We’re looking for a detail-driven and dynamic Quality Assurance Officer- Medical Reports to help us deliver high-quality medico-legal reports that make a real difference in personal injury and workers’ compensation outcomes.
As our Quality Assurance Officer, you’ll play a key role in reviewing, editing, and managing medico-legal reports to ensure they are accurate, compliant, consistent and meet medicolegal requirements. You’ll work closely with doctors, lawyers, and case managers to uphold the highest standards across our reports and processes. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking team that is ambitious about raising the bar in medico-legal services.
What you’ll do:
• Proofread and edit medico-legal reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
• Check reports against Whole Person Impairment (WPI) guidelines and relevant legislation.
• Maintain clear audit trails, archiving, and file management for compliance
• Act as a key liaison with doctors, secretaries, solicitors, and case managers.
• Support continuous improvements in our quality assurance processes.
What you’ll bring:
• Solid experience in quality assurance, editing, or compliance within personal injury / workers’ compensation / medico-legal industry.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology (WPI experience highly regarded).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors others miss.
• Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and comfort working with systems (Office 365, Salesforce, Zoom).
