Dewatering Technicians/Polywelders /S26 Supervisors

Description

We are seeking experienced Dewatering Technicians, Polywelders and S26 Supervisors to join our team on a 12–18-month major project for a tier 1 company based in Port Hedland. These roles are offered as a 12-month fixed term contract, with potential for extension. Ideal commencement is end of March.

You will play a key role in delivering critical dewatering infrastructure, including installing bore pumps and supporting ongoing field-based water management activities across mining and civil environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission pumping systems, including bore pump installation
  • Mobilise and demobilise pumping equipment
  • Conduct function testing of pumping systems
  • Perform general workshop duties to support project readiness
  • Assist with maintenance and repair of equipment
  • Complete safety, testing and inspection documentation accurately and on time
  • Manage safety and environmental hazards onsite
  • Interpret drawings and BOMs to prepare for installation
  • Deliver high quality customer service and represent the NPE brand
  • Work collaboratively with site and workshop teams

What You’ll Need (Essential)

  • Current Driver’s Licence BHP Induction
  • White Card
  • LF Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • High level of accuracy, initiative and flexibility
  • Strong time management and ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to pass a Rail Cat 3 medical
  • Supervisor Requirements
  • S26 Supervisors Ticket (mandatory)
  • 12 months’ supervisory experience preferred
  • Desirable Experience
  • Previous experience in mining or civil dewatering, pipelaying or pump station operations Poly welding ticket
  • Confined Space, Working at Heights, Dogging/Rigging
  • HR Licence
  • Trade Certificate (e.g., Plumbing)
