About the role:
Join us as a Retail Channel Sales Executive, managing and growing a portfolio of retail customers. You’ll drive sales through proactive outbound engagement, helping clients expand their range, adopt new products, and maximise promotions.
Working closely with Field Sales, you’ll support account growth while delivering a seamless customer experience through strong relationship management and efficient order handling.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining sales and service to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Performance:
- Own sales performance for assigned territory, accountable for monthly sales targets & execution priorities
- Complete assigned daily call queues with consistent outbound
sales discipline
Customer Service:
- Own end-to-end service outcomes, including order processing, delivery resolution and credits management
- Balance service responsiveness with a strong commercial mindset to support retention and growth
Sales Enablement:
- Maintain accurate customer records, call notes, outcomes and next actions
- Capture customer insights to support execution tracking and continuity
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Field Sales to align priorities and coordinate account execution.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations to support order fulfilment and issue resolution
People & Culture
- Contribute positively to a high-performing, sales-driven team environment
- Demonstrate reliability and consistency in meeting outbound telesales expectations
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Outbound or inside sales experience with accountability for sales targets
- Strong commercial acumen balancing sales growth and service ownership
- Experience operating in a structured sales environment with assigned call activity
- Clear, confident communication and professional customer engagement skills
- Comfortable using CRM platforms and customer records to support execution
Desirable:
- FMCG, retail, subscription or omni-channel experience
- Strong execution discipline and follow-through
- Customer ownership mindset
