About the roles:
MYMC are looking for supervisors for two of our open roles within the logistics department.
- Day Shift: Tuesday to Saturday from 6am till 2:06pm.
- Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday from 2pm till 10:06pm
The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient picking, packing, dispatch, and stock management activities.
Key Responsibilities but not limited too:
- Lead daily start up meetings and toolbox talks with team members to ensure clear communication and safety awareness.
- Monitor performance metrics such as picking speed and pallet outputs, maintaining accountability through tools like leader boards.
- Oversee the movement and organisation of pallets from picking to the palletising and dispatch area in line with transport timeslots.
- Ensure picking targets and KPIs are met, including output of pallets and box-picking rates per staff member.
- Ensure product quality standards are met, including pallet condition, Ti Hi configuration, SKU accuracy, and correct quantities.
- Complete and verify all HACCP monitoring forms and ensure compliance with safety and quality systems (e.g., 7-12 UBD).
- Report all hazards, injuries, and near misses through the appropriate systems and complete monthly safety audits.
- Coordinate general maintenance and report equipment breakdowns or issues to maintenance teams.
Skills & Experiences:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong leadership and written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse team.
- Proven ability to coordinate operations and communicate effectively with senior management across multiple sites.
- Professional attitude with a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of warehouse systems, quality control, safety standards, and performance metrics.
