My Implant Dentist is one of Australia’s fastest-growing dental brands, with clinics in Perth and Brisbane and a reputation for delivering exceptional implant and cosmetic dental care. We’re not your average dental clinic—and this isn’t your average accountant role.

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Accountant who’s ready to take the lead, support our growing operations, and guide our finance team of two (1 FT, 1 PT) as we scale. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee financial reporting, payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and AR—while also managing our outsourced Accounts Payable function, which we plan to gradually bring in-house under your leadership. You’ll play a key role in improving financial performance across the group and shaping a finance function that grows with the business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Take ownership of finance operations across our clinics
• Review and improve systems and processes
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, reconciliations, and reporting
• Work closely with Directors, marketing, and Practice Managers to meet financial goals
• Lead and support your small, capable team
• Be comfortable jumping into the day-to-day (yes, even the nitty-gritty when needed)
• Handle payroll, BAS, and PAYG with confidence
• Occasionally attend after-hours meetings or deadlines—we’re a fast-moving business and flexibility goes a long way

Who You Are:

• You’ve got 2-3+ years’ accounting experience, ideally in healthcare or multi-site businesses
• You’re confident with Xero, MYOB, and ideally Employment Hero
• You’ve got a sharp commercial mind and can communicate financial insight in plain English
• You’re reliable, proactive, and not afraid to go the extra mile
• You thrive in a growing business where your input genuinely shapes outcomes
• You want to lead, but also support—a “get in and get it done” attitude
