We are seeking a motivated and reliable Bush Regenerator to join our team on a casual basis across Western Sydney.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in caring for the environment, and can work safely and effectively as part of a team. You will contribute to bushland restoration, vegetation management and general environmental maintenance across a range of sites.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with bush regeneration experience who is looking to join a supportive team and do meaningful work in the field.
About the role
As a Bush Regenerator, you will support the delivery of bushland restoration and environmental maintenance works across allocated sites. The role involves practical field work, a strong focus on safe work practices, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards on site.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake bush regeneration and environmental restoration works
- Weed identification and control using manual and chemical methods where required
- Planting, mulching, watering and general site maintenance
- Assist with revegetation and regeneration activities
- Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Follow site instructions, safety procedures and work programs
- Work productively as part of a team in outdoor conditions
- Maintain a high standard of presentation, care and attention on site
About you
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Experience in bush regeneration, land care, conservation or a related field
- Ability to work outdoors in a physically active role
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Commitment to safe work practices and following direction
Desirable qualifications and tickets
The following will be highly regarded:
- Certificate in Conservation and Ecosystem Management or similar
- Chemical Accreditation
- White Card
- Current Driver’s Licence
- First Aid Certificate
- Working with Children Check
