The Cleaning position is responsible to ensure the cleanliness of the administration buildings and staff amenities to an acceptable standard to ensure the factory environment is maintained to mitigate Food Safety and Quality issues.
Duties include:
- Responsible for all cleaning of administration facilities and plant amenities
- Accomplish industrial cleaning results by implementing site cleaning plan
- Cleans floors and rooms including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, spot clean glass and windows and empties rubbish
bins and replaces liners
- Maintain plant consumables supply
- Wash and dry reusable gloves
- Clean and sanitise amenities
Set up stock and maintain cleaning supplies
Skills, knowledge and experience required:
- Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks
- Understanding of GMP & HACCP preferred
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Valid Drivers Licence
