  • About the Role
  • We are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our Corporate and Finance team on a part-time basis (3 days per week, Monday to Wednesday).
  • This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across accounts receivable, payroll support and reconciliations, and who is confident using Xero and Excel in a values-driven, community-focused environment.
  • Key Responsibilities
    • Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, client statements and aged debt follow-up
    • Support debt recovery processes in line with organisational procedures
    • Support the preparation and processing of fortnightly payroll
    • Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
    • Monitor and respond to finance-related inboxes
    • Respond to client and supplier finance queries professionally and efficiently
    • Prepare reports and tracking tools using advanced Excel
    • Provide general finance and administration support to the Finance Manager and Accountant
  • About You
  • You are organised, reliable and confident working with financial systems and deadlines. You bring a professional and respectful approach to sensitive financial matters and enjoy working collaboratively.
  • You will have:
    • Experience in accounts receivable and/or bookkeeping
    • Demonstrated experience processing payroll
    • Experience using Xero
    • Advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations and reporting)
    • High attention to detail and strong time management skills
    • Clear communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
  • Desirable:
    • Certificate III in Accounting, Finance or Business
    • Experience in not-for-profit, community services or aged care
