Care Support Worker – Spanish Speaking Preferred (Central Coast)

We’re looking for Spanish-speaking Care Support Workers to support older people living independently across the Central Coast.

Many of our clients feel safest and most comfortable when they can speak their first language. You’ll support several clients each day, travelling between their homes and providing respectful, person-centred care that genuinely makes a difference.

Client runs are planned to minimise travel time and support work–life balance.

What you’ll be doing

Across your day, you’ll visit a number of clients and support them with:

  • Personal care (showering, dressing, grooming)

  • Medication reminders (no administration)

  • Light cleaning, laundry and meal preparation

  • Social support and companionship

  • Supporting clients to appointments or into the community

You’ll usually work with a regular group of clients, allowing you to build trust and meaningful relationships over time.

🕘 A typical day in the role

Your day might look like this:

  • Start your shift from home and head to your first client

  • Visit 3-5 clients across the day, depending on shift length

  • Provide care and support in each client’s home

  • Travel locally between client homes (paid travel time)

  • Finish your shift knowing you’ve helped people remain safe and independent at home

✅ Paid travel

You’ll be paid for travel between client visits during your shift, with runs planned to keep travel local and reasonable.

What you’ll need

  • Spanish Speaking (desirable)

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)- required

  • Experience in aged care or community support (highly regarded)

  • Comfortable travelling between client homes

  • Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

  • A caring, reliable and respectful approach
