About the Role:
Reporting to the Collections Manager, you’ll manage your own portfolio of arrears and enforcement matters, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining a customer-centric approach. You’ll support recovery strategies that are both effective and compliant with NCCP, ASIC, and AFCA requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end collections processes within your portfolio
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines
- Liaise with external legal teams and recovery partners
- Contribute to arrears reduction strategies and reporting
- Provide excellent service while achieving recovery targets
- Managing hardship cases end to end
About You:
- Solid experience in mortgage collections
- In-depth understanding of NCCP and ASIC frameworks
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with sound problem-solving ability
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- A strong understanding of late-stage collections and enforcement action
- An understanding of hardship processes and associated timeframes
