Cloud Architect – SaaS & Multi-Tenant Platform

We are seeking a highlyskilled Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of a secure, scalable, and multi-tenant SaaS platform on Microsoft Azure.

This role is critical in shaping the architecture of a modern fintech ecosystem, ensuring alignment with cloud-first principles, security best practices, and AI-driven innovation.

About the Role

You will be responsible for designing end-to-end cloud architecture across multiple environments, including multi-tenant SaaS, hybrid infrastructure, and secure enterprise integrations. You will work closely with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to deliver a robust and future-ready platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure-based cloud architecture for a multi-tenant SaaS platform
• Defineand document end-to-end system architecture, including:
• Identity & Access Management (Microsoft Entra ID, B2B/B2C, MTO)
• Networking (VNet, NSGs, Private Endpoints, VPN/ExpressRoute readiness)
• Compute & storage architecture (App Services, Containers, AKS, SQL, etc.)
• Architect secure integrations across:
• Microsoft 365, Graph API
• Third-party APIs (e.g., financial data providers)
• Establish security and compliance frameworks aligned with:
• Financial services standards (APRA/ASIC awareness is a plus)
• Microsoft Secure Score and Zero Trust principles
• Design multi-tenant architecture patterns (tenant isolation, scaling, cost optimization)
• Define DevOps and CI/CD architecture (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
• Provide guidance on Azure cost optimization and governance
• Collaborate with developers to ensure architecture is properly implemented
• Produce clear technical documentation and diagrams

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or Azure Architect
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services and architecture
• Strong experience with:
• Multi-tenant SaaS architecture
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, MFA
• API design and integration
• Cloud security and compliance
• Experience designing scalable, high-availability systems
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, lending, or regulated environments
• Familiarity with:
• Azure OpenAI / AI integrations
• Azure Arc (hybrid scenarios)
• Kubernetes / containerized workloads
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
• Experience working with multi-tenant Microsoft 365 environments

• Building a secure, compliant, white-label SaaS platform
• Azure-native architecture with AI integration and automation
• Multi-tenant setup across multiple business entities
• Integration with loan origination systems and enterprise SaaS tools

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in cloud architecture or related roles.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of SaaS and multi-tenant architecture principles.
• Experience with containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
