Morrows Logistics is an expanding family-owned business offering reliable solutions across Victoria. We specialise in Dangerous Goods, 3PL, Transport and Warehousing.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for dynamic, driven professionals to join our team. We are currently hiring for a Fleet Allocator/Operations Planner which is a role within our operations team. This position is based in Keysborough and is perfect for candidates eager to take on impactful responsibilities within a high-growth environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Fleet and Load Coordination: Plan and allocate freight and fleet to maximise efficiency

Vehicle Assignment Coordination: Ensure timely assignment of vehicles to drivers based on availability, distance, and urgency

Fleet Monitoring: Track the movement of vehicles and ensure the fleet is used efficiently with minimal downtime

Job Dispatch & Tracking: Assign jobs, track deliveries, and ensure real-time communication regarding ETAs and status updates

Technology: Use of our in-house mapping software to plan and structure runs efficiently

Customer & Carrier Relations: Build strong relationships with customers and carriers, ensuring smooth operations

Communication & Problem-Solving: Liaise with drivers to resolve any issues and ensure smooth operations

Business Development: Follow up on leads, provide quotes, and assist with expanding the customer base

Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations and ensure that all necessary documentation is up to date

Team Collaboration: Work alongside the Logistics Manager and Logistics Operations Manager, sharing insights and offering support as required

Data Entry/Office Administration: Work within the team to ensure all orders are entered into the TMS system, and assist with collating driver run sheets

Fleet Records Management: Maintain accurate logs of vehicle locations, maintenance schedules, and driver assignments

Collaboration: Work with other team members to optimise fleet operations and improve efficiency

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and can balance multiple priorities effectively. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be:

Experienced: Minimum 2+ years in transport/logistics (Allocator, Freight Broker, Operations, Dispatch, or BDM role)

Tech-savvy: Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS), Microsoft Excel, and basic financial literacy

Excellent Communicator: Strong ability to connect with drivers, customers, and colleagues

Problem-Solver: Ability to think on your feet and overcome challenges in a fast-moving environment, and present solutions to problems

Organised & Detail-Oriented: Able to manage multiple tasks, track operations, and ensure accuracy in everything you do

Self-Motivated & Collaborative: Independent yet able to work effectively within a team and demonstrate continuous improvement initiatives

Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence:

Immediate Start (subject to medical).
