Nursery room Lead Educator

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Diploma Room Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of educators and providing high-quality care and education to children in our center in the Nursery Room. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of early childhood development.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of educators in the delivery of high-quality care and education to children in our center
• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities that promote children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
• Build positive relationships with families and maintain open communication with parents and caregivers
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement
• Provide guidance and support to educators in the planning and delivery of educational programs
• Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership role in an early childhood education and care setting
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices in early childhood education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team of educators
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
