Storeperson – Warehouse

MJS Floorcoverings is a family‑owned trade floorcoverings and installation tools specialist with almost 60 years in the industry. Known for outstanding service and expert advice, we are looking for a Warehouse Storeperson in our Hindmarsh, SA, Trade Centre.

Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and organised Warehouse Storeperson to support our daily warehouse operations which include picking and packing of orders and, receiving deliveries, customer support and maintaining a safe workspace.

Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing of customer orders in a time-efficient manner
• Receive incoming goods, verifying the accuracy of the shipment against the purchase order
• Store goods in the appropriate location, ensuring that they are easily accessible
• Operate forklift to move and store goods
• Provide a high level of customer service at the Trade counter
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock counts and location information
• Prepare and process orders for shipment, ensuring that they are complete and accurate
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse, ensuring that all safety procedures are followed
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse/trade centre desirable
• Valid forklifts licence
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic computer skills
