Description

Part-time Financial Analyst

Help shape smarter decisions at Miss Amara

If you’re a commercially minded Financial Analyst who enjoys turning data into meaningful insights, this could be the role for you.

At Miss Amara, finance isn’t just about reporting numbers. It’s about helping the business understand what’s happening, what’s coming next, and where the biggest opportunities are. In this part-time role, you’ll work closely with leaders across the business to bring clarity to our performance and help guide key decisions as we continue to grow.

You’ll join a collaborative team where curiosity, initiative, and thoughtful analysis are valued — and where your insights will genuinely influence the direction of the business.

What you’ll get to do

In this role, you’ll play a key part in how we understand and plan our performance.

You will:

  • Help shape our budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring we’re planning with clarity and confidence

  • Analyse financial and operational data to surface trends, opportunities and risks

  • Create clear, insightful reporting that helps leaders make better decisions

  • Partner with teams across the business to align financial targets with operational goals

  • Improve and evolve our financial models and Power BI dashboards to make insights more accessible

  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and strengthen financial processes

  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc analysis and projects as the business grows

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working both in the numbers and with people, translating financial insight into practical business actions.

What will help you succeed

You’ll likely bring:

  • CPA, CA or equivalent qualification

  • Around 5+ years’ experience in financial or commercial analysis

  • Strong analytical and modelling skills, with advanced Excel capability

  • Experience building financial models that support strategic decisions

  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and explaining financial insights clearly

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in retail, e-commerce or supply chain environments (helpful but not essential)

  • Curiosity about automation, systems, and smarter ways of working

Most importantly, you’re someone who enjoys asking questions, uncovering insights, and helping teams make better decisions.

Why you might enjoy working here
