The Role:
This role sits at the crossroads of engineering, sales, customer service, and manufacturing, serving as a key connector across the business. You’ll partner closely with both internal teams and customers to design and deliver tailored, end‑to‑end solutions that align precisely with customer process requirements. By translating technical needs into practical, manufacturable outcomes, you’ll play a critical role in driving customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and long‑term commercial success.
Responsibilities:
- Providing technical advice and assistance to the sales team in the development of tailored solutions to meet customer needs
- Calling on customers to provide product, service, technical engineering information and support
- Following up enquiries, creating quotations, providing equipment sizing and selection, and undertaking engineering calculations
- Converting customer specifications into concept solutions, whilst educating stakeholders on the best use of company products
- Reviewing and updating product assembly and operational procedures, providing recommendation and improvements where needed
- Assisting in the coordination of product installation, commissioning, and testing
- Working closely with the managerial and marketing teams to develop technical sales support programs and relevant GTM materials
- Offering input, insight and strategic direction to business stakeholders specific to market and major project developments
Skills & Experience:
- A strong mechanical engineering aptitude, with formal qualifications and training relevant to the sales application of industrial products
- Self-motivated, a positive demeanor and confident in providing outstanding customer service and building rapport with people at all level
- A willingness to follow up with customers to demonstrate the company product rangeand services
- Highly competent in the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and industrial standards
- An advanced technical knowledge and the utilization of technical information and work procedures
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and time management skills
