About the Role
The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for leading and delivering strategic, consistent, and high impact communications across all Microflite Group brands. This role exists to shape and protect the Microflite narrative – strengthening brand alignment, enhancing market presence and reputation, and driving meaningful engagement with customers, partners, media, and internal stakeholders.
With a strong focus on communications, Public Relations, and brand storytelling, this position combines strategic leadership with hands on execution. You will own end-to-end marketing communications initiatives, oversee content and digital channels, and provide trusted media and public relations support to the senior leadership team as required. You will also lead the marketing function, fostering collaboration, clarity, and consistency across a growing and diverse aviation group.
Why Microflite Group?
Microflite Group brings together three distinct aviation businesses – Microflite Aviation, Airlines of Tasmania, and Cambridge Airport, under a single group model united by shared purpose, strong capability, and clear alignment. Together, these businesses form a connected aviation group with a strong commitment to safety, excellence, and working better together. Professionalism, safety, and people sit at the core of everything we do, and we are proud of the diversity of our operations, believing we are stronger because of our differences, not despite them. Working at Microflite Group means being part of an organisation that values expertise, encourages accountability, and recognises the importance of every role in delivering safe, reliable outcomes.
What You’ll Do

- Manage digital platforms and channels, ensuring consistency, performance optimisation, and brand integrity across websites, social media, email marketing, and multimedia libraries.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a high performing, collaborative culture.
- Act as the key liaison between marketing, business units, agencies, and senior management to ensure aligned messaging and smooth execution.
- Ensure all communications meet internal policies, regulatory requirements, and confidentiality standards.
