About the Role
Mibilla Patios & Tiny Homes is looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter / Builder to join our team in Newcastle. You’ll be working on a range of high-quality patio builds and custom tiny homes, delivering craftsmanship we’re proud of.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, follows safety standards, and enjoys being part of a small, growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct and install patios, decking’s, carports, awnings, outdoor structures, and tiny homes
- Read and follow plans, drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install timber and other building materials
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Ensure all work meets Australian building standards and WHS requirements
- Work alongside other trades and contractors to meet project timelines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised worksite
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced as a Carpenter or Builder
- Trade qualification in Carpentry or Building (preferred)
- Experience in residential construction, patios, or modular/tiny homes is highly regarded
- Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and capable of handling building materials
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team
