Rail Systems Australia has a growing portfolio of rail projects underway, and in the pipeline, in all major centres across Australia. To facilitate this growth, we are looking to employ the services of a Senior OT Engineer.
About the role
The Senior OT Engineer role is a vital role within the RSA Group, ensuring that the company has sufficient capable and competent engineering and technical resources to deliver Communications and Operational Technology projects as well as the technology, processes and procedures to support these.
- Accountabilities & Activities include but not limited to:
- Design and Review designs to legislated, industry and client specifications.
- Input into resource-loaded project programs to determine current and future engineering resourcing requirements.
- Mentoring all engineering resources
- Support training of engineering resources
- Maintain good relationships with client representatives.
- Taking responsibility for the quality and engineering assurance
- Directing the production and continual support of standards and procedures
- To develop and maintain project specific Engineering Management plans.
- Ensure full compliance of the RSA engineering processes with ISO9001:2008 and other standards as appropriate.
- Support the Principal OT Engineer and the senior management team.
- Provide input to relevant bids and tenders that are being undertaken by the bid team.
- Strong knowledge of developing on Citect SCADA 2018 R2/2015 and OFS (OPC factory server)
- Strong knowledge of Schnieder M580, M340 and Rockwell PLC
- Experience with PCN (Process Control Network)
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years relevant design and management experience required.
- Experience with railway communications and OT systems
- Proficiency in planning and managing teams of engineers.
- Eligible to become a Chartered Engineer
