And we’re on the hunt for an Analytics & Insight Specialist to join our busy Data team.
As an Analytics & Insight Specialist you’ll take ownership of implementing and optimising robust tracking and measurement solutions across a range of clients. You’ll work closely with strategists, media teams, developers and clients to ensure accurate, scalable and insight-driven analytics frameworks are in place.
You’ll be confident working independently, troubleshooting complex tracking issues, and translating business requirements into effective measurement solutions.
This is an ideal role for someone with 2–3 years’ agency-side experience, who understands how web analytics supports marketing performance and commercial outcomes.
Day to day you’ll:
- Be responsible for the implementation, management and optimisation of tracking solutions using Google Tag Manager, GA4 and related platforms.
- Design measurement frameworks aligned to client KPIs and marketing objectives.
- Configure and customise GA4 properties, events, conversions and audiences.
- Debug and troubleshoot tracking issues across web platforms.
- Work with developers to implement dataLayer specifications and custom JavaScript solutions.
- Build dashboards and reporting solutions (e.g. Looker Studio & PowerBin or similar).
- Conduct analytics audits and provide actionable recommendations.
- Support marketing and strategy teams with insight generation.
- Communicate confidently with clients about measurement strategy, tracking requirements and reporting outputs.
- Test, validate and quality assure all tracking implementations
We are looking for someone with:
- The skills and temperament to be able to manage projects independently end to end, from initial brief, quoting and budget management, implementation, testing and client communication. Other members of the team are available to assist with questions, troubleshooting and providing advice.
- 2–3 years’ experience in a digital agency or similar fast-paced environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
- Solid understanding of how web analytics works (events, sessions, attribution, tagging, cookies, consent, data layers).
- Working knowledge of JavaScript – comfortable reading and writing scripts for tracking implementations.
- Understanding of HTML and DOM manipulation for tracking purposes.
- Experience building dashboards in Looker Studio or similar BI tools.
- Strong debugging skills (Tag Assistant, browser dev tools, etc.)
- Ability to translate marketing and business requirements into measurement solutions.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills (internal and external).
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Bonus points for:
- SQL experience (BigQuery preferred)
- Experience working with large datasets or data warehouses
- Experience with consent management platforms
Exposure to server-side tagging
- Experience working with media platforms and marketing pixels (Meta, Google Ads, DV360 etc.)
