About the role

You’ll be a trusted point of support for both the legal team and clients, helping ensure matters progress efficiently and with care. Your day-to-day will include (but won’t be limited to):

  • Preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence
  • Diary management and coordination
  • File management (electronic filing, document control, and general matter administration)
  • Client communication and support
  • Assisting with billing processes and general practice support
  • Working collaboratively with other team members and contributing to reception cover when required

About you

You’re a capable legal support professional who enjoys variety, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and brings empathy and professionalism to client interactions.  To be considered, you will have:

  • Previous legal administration experience, ideally in a family law practice
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and pride in accurate document production
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A proactive, “can-do” approach and confidence to take initiative
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Previous experience with a legal practice management system, such as Affinity.
