Role Purpose

The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Z Software’s pharmacy and healthcare software customers. The role builds trusted relationships, drives product adoption, and identifies opportunities that improve customer outcomes and revenue. It partners with Sales, Customer Success, Product and Support to deliver value across the full customer lifecycle. The focus is retention, expansion and advocacy through consistent, high-quality engagement.

About You

  • Customer focus – Understands pharmacy and healthcare software operations and tailors engagement to customer outcomes.
  • Commercial acumen – Reads contracts, pricing and negotiates to deliver mutual value.
  • Communication – Clear written and verbal communicator, able to conduct QBRs, demos and industry presentations with confidence.
  • Opportunity management – Skilled in qualification, discovery, solution mapping and closing in an ICT software context.
  • Data literacy – Uses dashboards, health scores and adoption metrics to prioritise actions and improve performance.
  • Stakeholder influence – Builds credibility with clinicians, pharmacists, owners and IT, and manages competing priorities.
  • Planning & discipline – Manages territory plans, travel schedules and CRM hygiene with strong attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving – Anticipates risks, resolves issues across teams, and communicates progress until closure.
  • Team collaboration – Works constructively with Sales, Customer Success, Product and Support to deliver end-to-end outcomes.

Measures Of Success

  • Revenue growth – Expansion revenue and NRR targets are consistently achieved across the portfolio.
  • Customer adoption – Customers adopt Z Software products and services across target sites and roles, with sustained usage embedded in daily workflows.
  • Customer retention – Portfolio customers renew and stay engaged over time, with minimal churn and strong long-term relationships.
  • Trusted partnerships – Senior customer stakeholders seek advice early and include Z Software in planning and review forums.
  • Predictable renewals – Renewal risk is identified early, with clear action plans and minimal last-minute escalations.
  • Internal coordination – Handoffs with Implementation, Support and Product are smooth, with reduced rework and faster time to value.

Location: After onboarding is completed in office, a flexible hybrid working model is available from our office in Surry Hills, NSW 2010. The location is close to public transport and is surrounded by a variety of restaurants and cafes.
