ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Officer to support the safe, secure, and compliant storage, handling, and dispatch of medicinal cannabis products. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate inventory control and maintaining compliance with strict regulatory frameworks, including TGA and GMP standards.

You’ll work closely with Operations, Cultivation, Post-Harvest, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations that support manufacturing, packaging, and distribution activities. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a structured, compliance-driven environment.

This role is Brisbane-based (Heathwood).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Quality & Inventory Control
  • Receive and inspect inbound goods, checking labelling, quantities, container integrity, and signs of damage or contamination
  • Label goods in accordance with internal inwards goods procedures
  • Sample goods and present samples to Quality Assurance prior to release
  • Track all inbound and outbound inventory movements
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Inventory Management System (IMS)
  • Conduct regular stock checks, investigate variances, and report discrepancies
  • Perform periodic IMS audits and support formal monthly physical stocktakes
  • Ensure all inventory actions meet regulatory and internal compliance requirements
  • Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards in line with procedures and schedules
  • Assist with maintenance and operational tasks as directed

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience in a warehouse or inventory-focused role
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and stock control principles
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a regulated environment

Qualifications & experience

  • Completion of Year 12 (preferred)
  • Current valid Forklift Licence (Essential)
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory-focused role
  • Experience using inventory management software
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles

Skills & attributes

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to comply with all industry laws, regulations, and internal policies

Physical requirements

  • Ability to safely lift up to 15kg
  • Comfortable standing, crouching, or moving for extended periods
  • Willingness to work in environmentally controlled rooms and around cannabis plants
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining safe and compliant practices

Pre-employment requirements

  • Federal Police Check with an ongoing non-disclosure outcome (renewed every two years)
  • Valid identification
