ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Officer to support the safe, secure, and compliant storage, handling, and dispatch of medicinal cannabis products. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate inventory control and maintaining compliance with strict regulatory frameworks, including TGA and GMP standards.
You’ll work closely with Operations, Cultivation, Post-Harvest, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations that support manufacturing, packaging, and distribution activities. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a structured, compliance-driven environment.
This role is Brisbane-based (Heathwood).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Quality & Inventory Control
- Receive and inspect inbound goods, checking labelling, quantities, container integrity, and signs of damage or contamination
- Label goods in accordance with internal inwards goods procedures
- Sample goods and present samples to Quality Assurance prior to release
- Track all inbound and outbound inventory movements
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Inventory Management System (IMS)
- Conduct regular stock checks, investigate variances, and report discrepancies
- Perform periodic IMS audits and support formal monthly physical stocktakes
- Ensure all inventory actions meet regulatory and internal compliance requirements
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards in line with procedures and schedules
- Assist with maintenance and operational tasks as directed
ABOUT YOU
- Experience in a warehouse or inventory-focused role
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and stock control principles
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a regulated environment
Qualifications & experience
- Completion of Year 12 (preferred)
- Current valid Forklift Licence (Essential)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory-focused role
- Experience using inventory management software
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles
Skills & attributes
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to comply with all industry laws, regulations, and internal policies
Physical requirements
- Ability to safely lift up to 15kg
- Comfortable standing, crouching, or moving for extended periods
- Willingness to work in environmentally controlled rooms and around cannabis plants
- Ability to work independently while maintaining safe and compliant practices
Pre-employment requirements
- Federal Police Check with an ongoing non-disclosure outcome (renewed every two years)
- Valid identification
