ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Software Developer who is passionate about building high-quality software solutions from the ground up, as well as enhancing and supporting existing platforms.
In this role, you’ll be actively involved in designing and developing new applications, features, and integrations that drive real business value. You’ll work across the full development lifecycle from ideation and architecture through to deployment and continuous improvement.
You’ll collaborate closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, practical solutions. This is a hands-on role where you’ll contribute to modernising systems, improving performance, and introducing new technologies including AI-assisted development tools to enhance delivery outcomes.
Operating in a dynamic environment, you’ll balance project delivery and operational priorities, ensuring systems remain stable, secure, and continuously evolving.
This role is Brisbane-based (Sumner).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, build, and maintain modern web-based applications
- Develop new software solutions, features, and system integrations
- Build and maintain APIs across internal and external platforms
- Support deployment processes across development, test, and production environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with practical, efficient solutions
- Contribute to Agile (Scrum) delivery including sprint planning and stand-ups
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation and knowledge base articles
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) to improve development productivity
ABOUT YOU
Experience with at least one of the following:
- JavaScript / React (preferred)
- TypeScript / Node.js
- C# / .NET
- Or similar modern web frameworks
- Solid understanding of SQL and database management (CRUD)
- Experience with Git/version control
- Knowledge of API development and integrations
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
NICE TO HAVE
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP)
- Experience with CI/CD or DevOps practices
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
- Experience setting up and managing development and production environments
