Supply Planner

This role is a maternity leave cover for approximately 12 months.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Supply Planner to join our team. The Supply Planner will be responsible for ensuring that our company has the necessary inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain a supply plan that meets customer demand while minimizing inventory costs
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust supply plans as needed to ensure optimal inventory levels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and procurement, to ensure alignment on supply plans
  • Analyze demand forecasts and historical sales data to identify trends and adjust supply plans accordingly
  • Manage inventory levels for multiple products and SKUs
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including potential supply disruptions and excess inventory
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to supply planning, including inventory levels, stockouts, and excess inventory

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in supply planning or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyse data and identify trends
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with supply chain planning software, such as SAP or Oracle, is preferred
  • Knowledge of inventory management best practices and supply chain optimization strategies
