The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Receptionist who takes genuine pride in being the first point of contact? Do you thrive in a fast paced, professional environment where your presence, communication style and attention to detail truly make a difference?

We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to play a pivotal role in supporting our Brisbane office. This is a key front of house position where you will set the tone for the firm, ensuring every client, visitor and team member is welcomed with professionalism, warmth and confidence.

This role is ideally suited to someone who has built a career in reception or front of house operations and is passionate about delivering consistent, high quality service in a busy professional services environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answering and directing incoming calls with professionalism and warmth
  • Greeting clients and visitors and ensuring a polished, welcoming experience (including offering refreshments)
  • Coordinating meeting room bookings and ensuring rooms are well presented at all times
  • Supporting the Office Manager with ad hoc administrative tasks
  • Maintaining the presentation of reception, meeting rooms and shared spaces

You will interact with a broad range of stakeholders across the firm, so strong interpersonal skills, discretion and the ability to remain calm and composed in a busy environment are essential.

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Receptionist in a fast paced professional or corporate environment (legal or professional services strongly preferred)
  • Confident Microsoft Office skills and accurate typing ability
  • Exceptional personal presentation with a friendly, mature and professional demeanour
  • A proactive, reliable approach with strong attention to detail
  • A genuine interest in building a long term career in reception or front of house operations

This role is critical to maintaining our high standard of client service and first impressions and we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys and values this responsibility.
