Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing landscape architecture projects from conception to completion. They will work closely with clients, project managers, and other team members to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present design concepts and proposals to clients.
  • Prepare and review construction documents, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Lead design production to deliver resolved designs in association with Project Leaders.
  • Coordinate and guide day to day design with professional and production staff.
  • Track design decisions and instructions from clients.
  • Seek approval from Associates and above on design propositions.
  • Maintain design quality with professional and production staff.
  • Manage delivery of contract within scope.
  • Execute the contract on time and budget.
  • Maintain Action Register I Issue Log.
  • Delegate tasks to professional and production staff.
  • Attend meetings and record minutes as required.
  • Maintain profitable project financial control.
  • Prepare project billings advice for accounts.
  • Facilitate project related collaboration with clients.
  • Maintain predetermined billing volumes.
  • Secure profitable, serviceable business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape architecture
  • Professional licensure preferred
  • Strong design and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Rhino, Revit, and other design software
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices
