Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Graduate Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team. This role provides the opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of landscape projects under the guidance of senior staff while developing professional skills toward registration. In addition to project work, the successful candidate will assist with general office tasks and play an active role in our collaborative studio culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise productively with senior staff and project managers.
  • Assist with the preparation of design outputs, documentation, and contract deliverables.
  • Support the design and development of projects from concept to completion, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Contribute to proposals, detailed documentation, and visual presentations to effectively communicate design intent.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., surveyors, architects, engineers).
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and workshops.
  • Undertake general office administration tasks as required.
  • Maintain awareness of project billing volumes.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, design technologies, and sustainable practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture (or related field).
  • Strong design skills supported by a portfolio of relevant work.
  • Proficiency in Rhino, Revit or Vector Works, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D printing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Awareness of sustainable design principles and environmental issues.
  • Eligibility for Graduate Membership with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA).
