Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and organised Business Support Officer to join our Engineering team at Sunshine Coast Airport.
About the Role
The Business Support Officer provides administrative and operational support to the Engineering team to ensure efficient maintenance planning, regulatory compliance and smooth day-to-day operations.
This role supports engineering leadership by coordinating documentation, staff movements, rosters, training and fleet planning activities to assist the team in delivering safe, compliant and efficient aircraft maintenance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Engineering department
- Assist in maintaining records for engineering staff qualifications, training and due dates
- Assist with onboarding and induction of new engineering team members
- Assist training activities with HR and Training teams
- Help maintain engineering communication boards and operational aircraft summaries
- Assist with fleet planning reports and operational update
- Assist with coordinating travel arrangements and staff movements
- Support Engineering Managers with general base operational coordination
About You
You will be an organised and proactive professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced technical environment.
You will bring:
- Experience in administration, records management or operational support
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Sound computer skills (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint)
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
