About Us:
McCall is currently seeking reliable and compassionate Support Workers to join our team and assist with shifts across our services. This is a great opportunity for support workers looking for flexible hours that can fit around other work, study, or personal commitments.
About your role:
The Disability Support Worker is responsible for providing best practice support to persons with a disability with their daily activities and facilitating the development and enhancement of their independent living and social skills.
Skills and Experience:
- Understanding and commitment to support persons with a disability in daily living, personal
care skills and community integration to foster their skill development and independence
- Computer skills, including the use of standard computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years work experience in providing support services to people with a disability within a residential or day program setting
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 and above) and your own motor vehicle
- First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation module.
- Availability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, including: morning, afternoon, nights, and weekend shifts.
